Dog that survived in the wild after going missing nearly 7 years ago is rescued

The dog, named Peg, went missing in 2013 and was spotted roaming around a campground in Minnesota seven years later. She was finally rescued after being spotted by a campground employee. The Humane Society of the United States estimates that between six and eight million companion animals enter animal shelters each year, and Peg is just one of the lucky ones that were reunited with their family after years lost in the wild. Since her return, she has been showered with attention from her family, and is settling back into her old home life.
