Brahma AI, which describes itself as an AI-native operating system for enterprise audiovisual content, has raised $150 million through preferred shares, including a $100 million investment from Multiples Alternate Asset Management. The company has received a further $100 million in investor interest, and Cantor Fitzgerald acted as sole placement agent.
Founded and led by CEO Prabhu Narasimhan, Brahma AI brings together technology developed across DNEG, Metaphysic and Prime Focus Technologies. Its platform pairs Brahma AI Core, a content intelligence and management layer, with Brahma AI Studio, which covers visual AI, digital humans, voice and multilingual performance. The company serves media and entertainment, sports, healthcare and advertising, with customers including Warner Bros, the NBA and Mayo Clinic, and received a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award. Co-founder and CTO Jo Plaeteleads its technology and R&D.
Narasimhan said the company is close to launching interactive digital humans, is building a model-agnostic platform and sees security, authenticity and provenance as central to its work. Renuka Ramnath, Founder, MD and CEO of Multiples, said the firm believes every enterprise is becoming a content enterprise and will support Brahma AI’s R&D, global expansion and talent growth. Namit Malhotra, Founder and CEO of DNEG, praised what Narasimhan’s team had built in a short time.
