GOP Congresswoman Virginia Foxx of North Carolina criticized President Joe Biden’s past claims that he never discussed “business of any kind” with his son Hunter over an alleged meeting they had in 2015.
Foxx pointed to recent interviews Hunter gave with reporter John Heilemann and other investigative reports that suggest Hunter had a deeper relationship with both his father and the Ukrainian gas firm in 2015.
“He lied in saying he never talked business with his son because the evidence is now there that this isn’t a case of just Joe Biden saying he never talked business with his son,” Foxx said. “There definitely is dispute now about the truthfulness of what Joe Biden said.”
